Made for the Alberta Summer Innovates Internship of 2022

Research Title: “Post-Secondary Success: Navigating the Transition for Students with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Learning Disabilities Online Tutorial” ; Supervised under Dr. Meadow Schroeder

The project aims to design an online learning experience intended to prepare high school students with learning disabilities and ADHD about the transition to postsecondary education. I was the lead game designer for this project.

The game is an online learning platform using an interface akin to visual novel games, with multiple branching dialogue trees to experience and explore. The game features a main tour guide character for each chapter as the player takes on a role as a brand new university student in a fictional university. Each tour will teach the player about the expected experiences and accommodations that students like themselves may wish to use throughout their post secondary life. The game's user interface and user experience are 100% specifically catered to players with ADHD and learning disabilities (includes font color, choice, animation speed, and visualizations).

The game's current build features one playable chapter and an easy access to the "final level" portion of the said chapter.
