Two Dumb Spies

A personal project to practice my game designing without depending on game engines back in 2017.

Two dumb spies is a trading card game with tabletop elements akin to that of Warhammer. Two spies are laid out on a grid board space and are tasked to retrieve the intelligence briefcase from the center of the field by either killing the other spy or capturing the briefcase from center and then going back to their spawning position. The players have the options to perform special actions via trading cards aside from movements on their alternating turns to hinder the opponent or benefiting themselves into accomplishing their objective.

I wish for this game to be a mix of various genres that require strategy and creative expression within the physical game space provided. Although not released to the public, the game is playable and had been play tested numerous times at the time of its development and gave me important insight as to how to properly articulate game mechanics and experiences to a player base.
